Hey everyone,

*sigh* I was going somewhere with this site and then it just kinda went kaput! Never fear about me closing because that’s blasphemy

But I’m sorry I’ve been so neglectful to the fanart world lately: thanks so much for your awesome tags and Wendy, Dan, Heather I will change/add your links as soon as I can

I’ve had some awesome timing health problems lately, which has prevented me from looking at Photoshop for days. It’s getting better super slowly and marrrr…. Not to mention some family stuff it’s not a good combination.

So people on BuffyForums I’m sorry for the wait on the awards for my challenge but literally I haven’t been able to like yeah….

Also, I don’t know if you all know but I run a fansite for David Tennant (tennantively.org) and we just opened a podcast which you can find a link to on the site. It’s been very hectic for me that way too. And with the recent discovery of Tenn being listed on the New York Times as a pretty much hand picked resource for David Tennant I don’t feel it slowing down anytime soon.

But I wanted to let you know that even though I’m near dead (LOL) I’m not there yet and I love you all and that I won’t be going anywhere soon (sorry you’re stuck with me :P)

Where has the time gone…?

Anyway… wee another new layout! I promise my new Year’s resolution will be to update more often so I don’t have to burden myself with a layout change EVERY time haha

But, I like this layout! It is that of my lover one of my favorite characters ever, Captain Jack Harkness! In Doctor Who of course x) And it’s also loosely based on a wallpaper I made which I will get to in a bit.

Art theft sucks, don’t do it. Thanks liking my stuff but a blantant [and really bad] copy is pathetic. Thank you!

So, the new art… 4 Doctor Who related wallpapers and 2 Torchwood ones! I swear TW is like my life right now, it’s sad…

Hit Me With Your Best Shot: The wallpaper that is used for my layout. I saw these pics from “3×13: The Last of the Time Lords” and yeah it was like BING! Basically, since Jack is immortal and can’t die no matter how many times you can try to kill him, yeah it says it all x)

Immortal: Torchwood! Again, Jack’s immortal, but this plays in a bit differently. In the season two episode “From Out of the Rain” it has some old traveling circus people escape from the film they were in and Jack used to be a part of it (as “The Man Who Can’t Die”) and it just plays on the parallels of how you’re immortal through film, pictures, (by Rose Tyler…) etc.

Walk Away From the Sun: “42″! (Ironically I saw a license plate that said “42″ on it today and that was it *snort*) When the Doktah pulls Martha and that dood back in from the little launch capsule so they don’t go hurtling into the sun! Lyrics from Seether’s song of the same title. (this was the first really good wallpaper I had done in A WHILE)

Time is Up: For the challenge at BuffyForums. The bombs Capt. John Hart left for the Torchwood team in the old building… the beginning of the end…

It’s So Beautiful: Another “Planet of the Ood” piece. This is one of the most heartwarming scenes. It’s very sad and I love Donna’s feelings on it and how she starts to understand all the burden the Doctor has on him. (Only begins because geez, no one can even imagine unless they were a timelord).

And I Thought it Good: THE MASTER! Crazy, crazy man awesomely portrayed by John Simm… heh I laugh at the Master though he’s so ridiculously evil… he’s funny. Yeah this is the part where he gases out the rest of the chamber… heh. I also won honorable mention in the “Grr Argh!” challenge

Thanks for all the lovely Halloween & Christmas gifts! They’re beautiful, and I swear to God I’ll get a Christmas one out myself… x)

I think these monthly updates are working okay for me. I should probably do them more than monthly (heh), so I won’t have to change the layout so often… As much as I loved the old one, I’m really digging the bright colors despite it being colder outside

I’ve added a bunch of new affiliates since and basically redid the affiliates page. And the resources! Yeah I’m pretty darn proud of my organization there I’ve actually redone most of the pages, but you can check those out for yourself if you’re interested.

Also media… I decided that I would gather up all my textures/brushes/etc I’ve made in the past and just post them all here. There are 35 icon textures and 2 brush sets along with the large textures and gradients that were already there.

I’d like to congratulate the fabulous Wendy for her site of the month award I hope you like it!

The new art—I Wasn’t Prepared: Twilight love. Yes I’m hooked and I have to say, even though Bella’s really freakin flighty and kind of… dumb, she’s my favorite character. I really loved the scene in the trailer with her and Edward in the meadow so that’s why I chose that picture.

He Loves Me Not: Another part of the battle with J.j.. It’s another Tosh piece with her and Adam. It’s not one of my best I don’t think, but I really love the colors.

Citizen Soldier: This was for the “I Need a Hero!” challenge on BuffyForums. Brennan and Booth are heroes in their own right and I loved the Halloween episode from season 3

If I Never Knew You: Another battle piece of Gwen and Jack. I know so many people hate Gwen and despise Gwen/Jack, but I think they add something to the show. This piece brings out how Jack really feels about Gwen, though it would never work out and he wouldn’t be able to commit to her, life would have never been the same since.
